We are deeply honoured to receive this recognition—our first-ever award from Smriti Chandrika Foundation—a milestone that reflects the collective passion, dedication, and commitment of our entire community towards Indian classical music.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the organizers, Sri Umesh and Vidwan Sri Ravishankar for conferring this honour, instituted in the loving memory of Vidushi R.Chandrika- one of the most well known vocalist of our state.

We are specially grateful to have had the privilege of receiving this award in the presence of such eminent stalwarts of the music world—Dr. Nagamani Srinath (Guru of Vidushi R Chandrika) Dr. T. S. Vasantha Madhavi, Dr. T. S. Sathyavathi, B. K. Anantharam, Guru Anoor Ananthakrishna Sharma, Lalgudi Rajalakshmi, P. Rama, Geetha Ramanand, T. T. Srinivasan on the stage. The auditorium was brimming with great sangeetha saadhakas like Revathi Murthy, C. N. Chandrashekar, Dr. Shubhamangala Raghunandan, T. N. Ashok, T. N. Ramesh, R. K. Prasannakumar, M. S. Govindaswamy, and Srikantha Bhat, Srilakshmi.
